Steer Housing Association was established in 2005, has been awarded Approved Housing Body Status by the Dept of the Environment, Community & Local Government and is a member of the Irish Council for Social Housing.

We are a not for profit organisation who provide general needs housing for people who are on the local authorities social housing lists.

At a time of major pressure on Government and local authorities to address the growing housing waiting lists, the need for quality affordable housing has never been greater and Steer Housing are determined to continue to address the needs within our community.

Steer housing strives to  house people in need  whilst responding to, engaging with and involving local people to make social housing work. Our core business is managing homes in a sustainable way, allowing people and families to peacefully enjoy, live and settle within communities
